BC IN CROATIA : War, Peace, and Reconciliation
BC in Croatia semester long program aims to form students who wish to think critically, holistically, and creatively about how to bring about justice and reconciliation. By drawing from the deep resources of Jesuit thought and practice, and by immersing students in the unique cultural, political and religious milieu of the Balkans, the program provides an environment that reveals the importance and urgency of overcoming violent responses to conflict and difference.

Introduction to the Balkans (Dr. Petra Taylor) (3 Credits)
Introduction to Language and Culture (prof. Iva Živković, Dr. Petra Taylor) (1Credit)
Philosophy of Peace and Hospitality (Dr. James Taylor) (3 Credits)
War and Peace through Literature (Dr. Petra Taylor) (3 Credits)
Course taught by BC faculty, varies each semester, check with BC Global Education (3 Credits)
Internship OR Intensive Croatian Language Course (3 credits)

Croatia: Zagreb, Vis
Bosnia and Herzegovina: Sarajevo
Serbia: Belgrade
